THE AUCTIONEER

Frank Lawrence is a veteran of the Mandurah Real Estate scene. He began his Real Estate career with Mandurah Independent H & N Perry in 1991, where today he is the Sales Director.


In 2000 he completed his Diploma of Business Management and was granted a Licence and a Triennial Certificate to act as a Real Estate Agent. A year later he was granted an Auctioneers Licence and began down the path that would see him recognised as one of Australia’s best property Auctioneers.


Frank has competed in the annual Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) Auctioneering competitions since 2003. In 2003 and 2006 he was runner up State Champion and in 2007, 2008 and 2009 he was named the REIWA Champion Auctioneer of the Year.


He has competed in the Australasian Auctioneering Championships in New Zealand, representing Western Australia, in 2003 and 2006. In 2007 he competed in the championships in Perth Western Australia, in 2008 in Darwin in the Northern Territory and in September this year in Hobart Tasmania.


Frank has conducted over 200 Auctions, sold over $70,000,000 worth of Real Estate by Auction and surprised many sellers with sales well exceeding the Reserve Price. One seller was amazed when Frank brought the hammer down on the property for over $750,000 more than the reserve price.


At the Mandurah Ocean Marina the sales he achieved at Auction set record prices in 2004, those prices were surpassed at Auction in 2005 and a new record for land in Mandurah set at Auction in 2006 where land sold for over $5,200 per square metre still the highest rate per square metre for vacant land.


A Mandurah resident since 1987, Frank is married with three children and has a strong community involvement particularly with Charity Auctions on behalf of the Peel Thunder 100 Club, Peel Health Foundation, Mandurah Performing Arts Centre and Mandurah Catholic College where he is an active member of the School Board.
